HOW TO: Set a custom property when creating a PowerCenter Service from the command line
Answer

To specify custom properties when creating a PowerCenter Service from the command line use the infacmd with the service options (-ServiceOptions or -so) option.

Syntax:

To set a custom property when creating an Integration Service using the command line use the following syntax:

createIntegrationService -dn domain_name -un user_name -pd password -sn service_name <-nn node_name|-gn> grid_name> -rs repository_service_name -ru repository_user -rp repository_password -so custom_property_name=custom_property_value -ln license_name

Example:

The following command creates an Integration Service with a custom property called ContinueWorkflowAfterTaskStopped set to "Yes":

infacmd createIntegrationService -dn infa_domain -un admin -pd admin -sn test_IS -nn cas160277 -rs INFA_Repo_861 -ru Administrator -rp Administrator -so ContinueWorkflowAfterTaskStopped=Yes -ln 861_key
