FAQ: What is "Maximum Base64 Body Size" in the Data Replication task setup in Informatica Cloud?
Answer

By default, the body size for base64 encoded data is 7 MB. You could increase the size as required.

For Salesforce sources, you could configure the body size for base64 encoded data. Configure the base64 body size when a Salesforce source includes base64 encoded data that you want to process in a Data Replication task.

This property is to only take care of base64 encoded type data, and would not have any impact on performance, and no impact at all unless you actually use this data types. If you have huge base64 type data, then you will have to increase it.

An example for base64 encoded data is body field in the attachment object of Salesforce.

If you configure a Data Synchronization task to process this data after replication, use the Edit Types option to increase the precision of the datatype for the base64 encoded data.

The maximum that can be configured is 75MB.
