FAQ: How to enable email alerts for service/YARN application failures in EDC?
Answer
Do the following to configure alerts in Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC).

Three things are required for receiving the Service level email alerts in Catalog Service.
  1. Check the property to receive the email alerts in Catalog Service
  2. Configure the email service in Informatica Admin Console
  3. User/group level Admin - Monitoring privilege is required to be configured at the Catalog Service level
