FAQ: Is is possible to add a new node to an IS grid without disabling OS Profiles?
Answer
No. The IS property "Use Operating System Profiles" has to be turned off before adding a new node to the IS grid.

To start an OSP-enabled IS, the Storage and Workflow Log directories need to be specified, and then the IS property "Use Operating System Profiles" in that order.

If a new node is added to the IS grid, then the Storage and Workflow Log directories are not set by default and so the IS process will not start on the new node. To set these entries, OSP needs to be disabled and enabled after these properties are set.
