FAQ: Is it possible to update a column that is masked through the DDM connection?
Answer
In DDM, if a field is masked, then we cannot update the value in the masked field. This is designed behavior.
If we need to mask the field then the user must be excluded from the list of users for whom the data is masked.

Msg 50000, Level 11, State 127, Line 1
