HOW TO: Use the PowerCenter session tracing levels with Custom transformations
Solution

To determine the tracing level of the Custom transformation use theinternal property INFA_CT_TRANS_TRACE_LEVEL .

Example:

Here is a code snippet using this internal property for tracing:

INFA_STATUS p_cust_procInit( INFA_CT_PROCEDURE_HANDLE procedure)
{
int tracelevel = -1;
const INFA_CT_TRANSFORMATION_HANDLE* transformation = NULL;
size_t nTransformations = 0;
transformation = INFA_CTGetChildrenHandles( procedure,
&nTransformations,
TRANSFORMATIONTYPE);
INFA_CTGetInternalPropertyInt32(transformation[0], INFA_CT_TRANS_TRACE_LEVEL, &tracelevel);
}
