UNIX platforms

  1. Open the file odbcinst.ini and add the following in the [NetezzaSQL] section:
    DebugLogging=true
    LogPath=<path to write file>

    NOTE:

    If the DebugLogging entry already exists (as "false"), then change the value to "true".
    Set LogPath to a path that the Informatica user has write permissions.

    Sample entry

    [NetezzaSQL]

    Driver=<Netezza Driver Path>/libnzodbc.so

    Setup=<Netezza Driver Path>/libnzodbc.so

    APILevel=1

    ConnectFunctions=YYN

    Description=Netezza ODBC driver

    DriverODBCVer=03.51

    DebugLogging=true

    LogPath=/tmp

  2. Re-run the session or mapping.

A log file with the name in the format nzodbc_<user><pid>.log will be produced in the LogPath directory.
