HOW TO: Prevent writing DD_REJECT data to the PowerCenter session log
Solution

By default rows that are marked as REJECT using DD_REJECT in an Update Strategy transformation are written to the PowerCenter session log.

To avoid writing DD_REJECT data to the session log, clear the Forward Reject Rows option and set the Logging Level in the Session Properties to Terse.

Forward Reject Rows

  1. Edit the Update Strategy transformation in the mapping
  2. Clear Forward Reject Rows under Properties:

     

Override Tracing

To set the Session to Terse mode do the following:

  1. Edit the session.
  2. Go to Config object tab.
  3. Set the Override Tracing option to Terse:
