HOW TO: Build a 64-bit .dll for a Service Group NAME extension on Windows in IIR
Solution

To generate a 64-bit .dll in Informatica Identity Resolution (IIR), ensure that the following factors are taken care of:

  1. Install a Microsoft Visual Studio VC compiler on your machine and ensure that the following path exists: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VC\bin\amd64 if you are using Visual Studio 10 because this path contains files required to set up a 64-bit environment for the VC Compiler. Call the vcvars64.bat file present in the above-mentioned directory from the environ.bat file, which is needed to create a 64-bit dll.
  2. Install 64-bit Informatica Identity Resolution (IIR).
  3. Do as follows to generate the dll:

    1. Configure the following .bat files:
      • environ.bat
      • ssaenv.bat
        * In environ.bat, ensure to configure the SSATOP according to your environment. Additionally, ensure to configure the following environment variables according to your environment:
        • set SSACCBIN=C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VC\bin
        • set INCLUDE=C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VC\Include
        • set LIB=C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VC\Lib
        • set SSACCID=msvs2008
          * In ssaenv.bat, ensure to set SSATOP according to your environment and also call the following .bat variable according to your environment:
          call "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VC\bin\amd64\vcvars64.bat"
    2. Copy the attached environ.bat and ssaenv.bat files in $SSATOP
    3. Run the ssaenv.bat file after configuring the above-specified variables according to your environment.
    4. Go to the directory $SSATOP/ssaname/<country>
    5. Run build.bat to generate the 64-bit dll.
