HOW TO: Use In-Out parameters in Informatica Cloud
Solution
In-out parameters act as persistent task variables. The parameter values are updated during task execution. This parameter would store date value for the last record loaded.
For more details on In-out Parameters, please refer:

In the mapping, we use FF as a source. Following is the sample data used:
date
28/11/2017 6:49:26.39
28/11/2017 6:49:26.39
28/11/2017 6:49:26.39
28/11/2017 6:49:26.39

Create an in-out parameter with datatype as date/time> provide a default value and set the retention policy as required i.e. On success or warning/on Success/On warning/Never.
Here we are selecting the aggregation type as MAX.
Under expression transformation> create a New output field with Type as date/time. Following is the expression used - SetMaxVariable($$dateParam,Systimestamp('ns'))

Create a target transformation and select the target as FlatFile type connection. Save and New Mapping configuration task.
In MCT> click on Step 2 and Click on Validate.

Save and run the MCT.

Once the MCT is run> users can notice the In-Out Parameters under  Mapping Configuration Job Details. Please find the screenshot attached
