HOW TO: Enable a Cloud Data Integration connector developed using Informatica Connector Toolkit to use the proxy server
Solution
To use the proxy server, developers must add the following additional codes to retrieve the proxy details while developing a Cloud Data Integration connector using Informatica Connector Toolkit:

String proxyHost = System.getProperty("http.proxyHost");

String proxyPort = System.getProperty("http.proxyPort");

String proxyHost = System.getProperty("https.proxyHost");

String proxyPort = System.getProperty("https.proxyPort");

After the developer adds the codes, you can configure the proxy settings for the connector either in the Informatica Cloud Secure Agent or in the runtime environment of the connector.

To configure the proxy settings in the Informatica Cloud Secure Agent, perform the following tasks:

1.  Open the Informatica Cloud Secure Agent page.

2.  Select Proxy to enter or edit the proxy server information.

3.  Select the Use a proxy server option.

4.  Enter the following proxy server information:

a.      In the Proxy Host field, enter the proxy server host name.

b.      In the Proxy Port field, enter the proxy server port number.

c.      In the User Name field, enter the user name of the proxy server.

d.      In the Password field, enter the password for the proxy server.

5.  Click OK.

6.  Restart the Secure Agent.

To configure the proxy settings in the runtime environment of the connector, perform the following tasks:

1. Select Administer > Runtime Environments.

2. On the Runtime Environments page, select the Secure Agent for which you want to configure the proxy settings from the list of available Secure Agents.

3. In the upper-right corner, click Edit.

4. In the System Configuration Details section, select the Type as DTM for the Data Integration Server.

5. Enter values for the following JVMOptions:

JVMOption5=-Dhttps.useProxy=<true or false>
JVMOption4=-Dhttps.proxyPort=<proxy port number>
JVMOption3=-Dhttps.proxyHost=<proxy host name>

JVMOption4=-Dhttps.proxyPort=<proxy port number>

JVMOption3=-Dhttps.proxyHost=<proxy host name>

6.  Restart the Secure Agent.
