HOW TO: Enable Phone Home in Axon
Solution
Starting from Axon Data Governance 6.0. you can send diagnostic information about the Axon services to Informatica using the Phone Home option. If you choose
the phone home option, Axon periodically collects and sends the information to an Amazon S3 server that is hosted by Informatica. The Informatica
Global Customer Support team can access this information to troubleshoot the Axon instance.

You must have the Admin or SuperAdmin profile to perform this task.

1. From the Axon toolbar, click the Admin Panel menu item under your user name. 
2. In the menu on the left, under the Customize & Configure category, click Configure Axon

3. In the Group dropdown, select Phone Home.

4. Click Edit, and select the Enable Phone Home checkbox.

5. Click Save. 
6. In the Linux environment, run the following command to clear the contents of the cache directory and restart memcached and httpd services:

 sh <axonhome>/axon/app/paramsync

​Note: To send information to Informatica, the Axon instance must have a working Internet connection.
