HOW TO: Execute workflow always on a specific node ?
In a multinode environment, workflow can always be executed on specific node by assigning workflow to an integration service configured to run on specific node.

Following are the steps to achieve the same:
  • Go to Admin Console > Click on the domain name > Actions > New > PowerCenter Integration Service
  • Create a new Integration Service and provide the specific node, you want your workflows to run.
  • Go to the Workflow Manager > Edit Workflow > Integration Service > <Give the name of the IS which you just created to run on a particular node>
  • When you are planning to revert the changes, you can change the IS name accordingly.

​Note that, workflow can still be configured to run on different integration service from workflow manager or from pmcmd.
The above steps are for case when user assigns default integration service for the workflow and if user executes workflow from workflow manager/ monitor.
