HOW TO: Verbose Logging Option - Repository Query Required
Solution
The user is running PowerCenter 10.2.0 HF2 on Windows hosts.
Domain and repository databases are on SQL Server 2016. They need to quickly track down any sessions that are running with a verbose logging option enabled to determine sessions that may be exposing sensitive data to unauthorized users.

They want to know the query that can list folder name, workflow name, worklet name (if appropriate), session name and logging option.

In the MetaQuery tool, we have an option called Override Tracing where you can get all VERBOSE DATA related details.
In MetaQuery tool connect to Repository > Session > Override Tracing.

Apart from this, we have the following repository query:

Select REP_REPOSIT_INFO.REPOSITORY_NAME,
REP_ALL_TASKS.SUBJECT_AREA as FOLDER_NAME,
REP_ALL_TASKS.TASK_NAME AS SESSION_NAME,
CASE
WHEN REP_SESS_CONFIG_PARM.ATTR_VALUE=0 THEN 'NONE'
WHEN REP_SESS_CONFIG_PARM.ATTR_VALUE=1 THEN 'TERSE'
WHEN REP_SESS_CONFIG_PARM.ATTR_VALUE=2 THEN 'NORMAL'
WHEN REP_SESS_CONFIG_PARM.ATTR_VALUE=3 THEN 'VERBOSE INITIALIZATION'
WHEN REP_SESS_CONFIG_PARM.ATTR_VALUE=4 THEN 'VERBOSE DATA'
END AS OVERRIDE_TRACING
FROM
REP_REPOSIT_INFO,
REP_ALL_TASKS,
REP_SESS_CONFIG_PARM
WHERE
REP_ALL_TASKS.TASK_ID=REP_SESS_CONFIG_PARM.SESSION_ID
AND REP_SESS_CONFIG_PARM.ATTR_ID=204
AND REP_SESS_CONFIG_PARM.ATTR_VALUE NOT IN(0,2)
ORDER BY 1,2,3

This will give the output fields as Repository Name, Folder Name, Session Name, and Override tracing option.
