HOW TO: Pick the latest file in a given folder used in IICS synchronization task, using a batch script?
The attached document is a batch script to pick the latest file placed in a given folder and to use that file in a DSS task .A quick synopsis of what is in the document is as follows:
The batch script can be called from the Preprocessing Commands in step 6 of a DSS task.
The first command sorts all files by date (In this e.g. all CSV files with names starting with sprinterRequest) in the given folder in descending order.
It then selects the first file after sorting and makes a copy of the file, this new file is renamed to the source file which is provided in Step 2 of the DSS task.
