FAQ: What does Router transformation do if a row satisfies the condition of more than one output group?
Problem Description

If a row is passed to a router transformation that satisfies more than one output group's condition how is the row routed?

Cause
Solution

If a row meets more than one group filter condition, the Integration Service passes this row multiple times. The row is output from all groups for which it satisfies the group's condition.

More Information
In PowerCenter 8.6.1 HotFix 2, it has been observed that Router transformations which have conditions that satisfy multiple output groups may delay output to some of the groups. Therefore, the operator might initially see output to fewer groups than expected.
