The data type in the target is character varying of size 10 bytes. Whereas, the data loaded into the target has a range greater than the size of the target datatype.

Cause

This issue could be caused due to one of the following reasons:

  • The data type used at the source is greater in length than the equivalent data type used in the target.
  • The data could be appended with some enclosing character while being transferred to the target.
Solution

To resolve this issue, do one of the following:

  • If the data is loaded into the target without any changes, then it is a Size issue. Increase the size of the data type in contention and perform the Data Streaming process.
  • If there are any changes such as special characters appended to the Data, check the Format Setting parameters in the Runtime settings option.
