B2B Data Transformation standalone installation does not open after installing 9.5.1 HotFix 1
Problem Description

In a scenario where a developer has the B2B Data Transformation Studio installed standalone and the installation is upgraded to 9.5.1 HotFix 1, the B2B Data Transformation Studio does not start anymore.

 

When verifying the installation directory (<INFA_HOME>\clients\DT), it appears that not all the required B2B Data Transformation files are present in the installation directory.

Cause
Solution
This is a known issue (CR 342531 / EBF 1241) when running the 9.5.1 HotFix 1 installer on a standalone B2B Data Transformation Studio installation.

 

If you are facing this issue after installing 9.5.1 HotFix 1, do the following:

  1. Roll back the HotFix to 9.5.1 using the HotFix Installer.
  2. Apply EBF 12410 to patch the installer.
  3. Apply the HotFix again. 

Contact Informatica Global Customer Support to obtain EBF 12410 for this issue.
