Node going down after SAML configuration
Problem Description
After the SAML configuration is completed, in the Node log, the following error is displayed:

Error in Node.log is as follows:


[[SAML_0017] The identity provider assertion signing certificate alias is not set in the SAML configuration for the node.].

Cause
This issue occurs if nodemeta.xml is not updated after SAML configuration.
Solution
To resolve this issue, perform the following steps:
  1. Take a backup of the domain.
  2. Shut down the node.
  3. Enable SAML. (As it was disabled due to Node down issue after SAML configuration
  4. Run the updategatewaynode command with -asca option and start Informatica services:
infasetup updategatewaynode   -asca  <alias of the ADFS cert in truststore> -saml true

More Information
In case of two nodes:

If the node is gateway node, then you need to run updatgatewaynode on each Gateway node.
