Feedback

Slow performance of Administrator console on Windows Server
Problem Description
Admin console takes a long time to load in browser after login credentials are provided.
Cause
This issue occurs due to a conflict between multiple NICs leading to routing issues.
Solution
To resolve this issue, perform the following steps:

1. Add Informatica server host and IP in etc/hosts file.

2. Set the metric of the desired NIC to a lower value than the other NIC(s). This causes Windows to consistently use the desired network card, preventing the conflict issues from occurring (the interface with lowest metric value will be preferred).

To set the interface metric, access the TCP/IP properties of the NIC and click the 'Advanced' button at the bottom of the General tab.

Remove the tick from the 'Automatic metric' checkbox, if present, and then enter a value in the 'Interface metric' box.
