ERROR: "[Teradata Database] [TeraJDBC 16.20.00.02] [Error 9719] [SQLState HY000] QVCI feature is disabled." while importing Teradata JDBC object in IDQ
Problem Description
When attempting to import a Teradata JDBC object, the following error occurs:
java.util.concurrent.CancellationException: [SDK_APP_COM_20000] error [[SDK_APP_COM_20000] error [[SDK_APP_COM_20000] error [ An error occured while fetching metadata: [[Teradata Database] [TeraJDBC 16.20.00.02] [Error 9719] [SQLState HY000] QVCI feature is disabled.]]]] 
Cause
This error occurs when the Teradata QVCI feature is disabled on the Teradata database.
The Queryable View Column Information​ (QVCI also Queryable Column Information on Views) feature is a Teradata option that controls the access to certain system tables.
Solution
To resolve this issue, enable the QVCI feature on the Teradata database.

OR,

Update to the latest version/patch of the JDBC driver (16.20.00.03 or later).
The QVCI option is no longer required with the lastest versions of the Teradata JDBC driver.
