Data Preview fails after installing HF2 on top of 10.2 when using OS profiles
Problem Description
Data Preview is failing with the following error:
Problem communicating with Data Integration Service [DIS_TEST].Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException:
[SecureFileAccess_1003] Cannot launch new process with system user [test_user]. Make sure that pmsuid program has correct system permissions.
Contact your system administrator.
Cause
OS profiles were configured prior to installing Hotfix2.  The issue occurs because when HF2 was installed on server side, the permissions for the pmsuid file were over written with the default permissions.
Solution
To resolve the issue update the permissions on the pmsuid file located in directory <infa_home>/services/shared/bin:

1) Enter the following information at the command line to log in as root:
      su root
2) Enter the following command to create a group for the administrator user:
       sudo groupadd <group name>
3) Enter the following command to add the administrator user to the group:
       sudo usermod -G <group name> <Informatica administrator user>
The administrator user is the Linux user whose permissions are used for all Informatica services (ex: root).
4) Enter the following command to change the owner and group of pmsuid to root and the group that you created:
        chown root:<group name> pmsuid
5) Set the following permissions:
        chmod 6710 pmsuid
6) Verify that the permissions for the pmsuid file appear as follows:
        rws--s---

More Information
It may not be necessary to complete steps 2 and 3 if this was performed in you 10.2 environment previously and OS profiles was working properly.
