Analyst Business Glossary search results show both the old name and new name of the terms
Problem Description
While searching for a term in the Analyst service, 2 results of the search are seen.

They are BG_term_old_name and BG_term_New_name.

Where the BG_term_old_name is renamed to BG_term_New_name.
This issue occurs due to in-consistency caused in the search index. Sometimes even the delete terms will be shown as part search results.

Please follow the below steps resolve the issue:
  1. Disable the search service

  2. Delete the following:

    • Search index files from the location where the search index directory is configured (Or, point the index to a new location).
    • Informatica Administrator->Search Service-> Properties-> Search Properties->Index Location
    • ​​Temp files under <INFA_HOME>\tomcat\temp\<Search Service>
    • Search-symphony folder under <INFA_HOME>\services\SearchService

      Do not delete the search symphony war file.​

  3. Enable the search service.​​​
