The user is unable to set the input parameter by the taskflow for the Mapping task in Cloud Data Integration
Problem Description
In Cloud Data Integration (CDI), the input parameter for a Mapping task is overridden by the task flow by setting value in assignment or the Input tab of the Data Task step.

But in runtime, the value set is not used.
Cause
In Cloud Data Integration (CDI), the input parameter can be overridden in the following two ways:

1. By setting the value for the field in Taskflow using an assignment step or in the Input tab of the Data Step. For this to work, the Allow override at runtime in the Input Parameter section of the mapping should not be checked.

2. By overriding the value using parameter file. For this to work, the Allow override at runtime check box should be checked.

If the Allow override at runtime is checked, then set the value from the task flow would not take effect.
Solution
Uncheck the Allow parameter to be overridden at runtime for overriding it in Taskflow.

For overriding with parameter files check:

Also, ensure to have the #USE_SECTIONS as the first line in the parameter file.
