HTTP ActiveVOS URL getting automatically redirected to HTTPS URL
Problem Description
After installing ActiveVOS, the URL gets automatically redirected to HTTPS.

It gets redirected to https://host:port/activevos/j_security_check with the following error:

HTTP Status 408 - Request Timeout

By default, ActiveVOS is https-enabled. The URL gets automatically redirected to https.
To resolve this issue, perform the following steps to change it back to HTTP:

Step 1:
Pass -Dae.web.filter.https.force=false as a JVM parameter.

Step 2:
You would have to make some modifications to the web.xml files present in <avos installation directory>\Server\server-enterprise\tomcat_config\webapps under each webapp folder.

Open each webapp folder, go to web-INF. For instance: webapps\active-bpel\WEB-INF, you would find a web.xml file

Open the web.xml file, search for the following tag:
<!-- Default to 5 minute session timeouts -->

Now, set the tag <secure>false</secure>

Make sure to change in all webapp folders: active-bpel, activebpel-cert, active-bpel-health, activevos, activevos-central

Step 3:
Also, make changes at the Tomcat webapps related to ActiveVOS (the names of the folders starting with ActiveVOS). The location of these files is <tomcat installation directory>\apache-tomcat-8.5.53-windows-x64\apache-tomcat-8.5.53\webapps.

Perform step-2, changing the secure tag to false in all the web.xml files.

Restart the Tomcat.
