"PWXPC_10056 Message: [ERROR] CDCRestart cannot open the restart token file" after restarting the CDC workflows in PowerCenter
Problem Description
In some scenarios, Informatica PowerCenter crashes and the PowerCenter server is restarted. In the restart CDC workflows, the session is unable to read the restart token file. The following error is displayed:

​PWXPC_10056 Message: [ERROR] CDCRestart cannot open the restart token file​
This issue occurs because of the restart file corruption issue due to the PowerCenter service crash.

As the session has crashed, the last restart token which was flushed should have present in the recovery cache file.

To resolve this issue, do as follows:

  1. ​Check the previous session log and the last flush value.
  2. Take a backup of restart token files and delete them from the restart folder.
  3. Restart workflow (warm start). It should pick the tokens from the last flush value from the recovery cache.
