"[Informatica][ODBC SQL Server Wire Protocol driver]Datetime field overflow. Error in parameter 5.] Database: EnterpriseIntegration Stored Procedure: [dbo].[batchlog name]" in INFORMATICA 10.4
Problem Description
The user was using SYSTIMESTAMP() to pass the session start time to call Stored PROC to insert a log entry of a process start time.
In 10.1.1, log entry is happens successfully, and fails in 10.4.0.
Cause
Solution
The root cause was, in 10.4, the drivers are more strict on precision.
So, after confirming with PS it is recommended to use builtin functions for a Date rather than SYSTIMESTAMP().
After changing the parameter, the sessions were running successfully.
